Comments

Causes acute pulmonary edema, cardiomyopathy, changes in trachea or bronchi, and changes to the liver in lethal-dose intratracheal studies of rats; Causes cardiac changes and changes in liver and kidney weights in mice and muscle weakness and coma in rats (oral administration); [RTECS] May cause eye, mucous membrane, and lung irritation; Not known to be a skin irritant; Prolonged inhalation exposure may cause bronchitis and pneumonia; Prolonged exposure may cause adverse effects to the cardiovascular system; Solubility in water high enough to produce symptoms of barium poisoning; [Polymer Logistics MSDS] See "Barium."
